Pulses
- Yellow Moong Dal — 0.2 Cup
Oils
- Cow Ghee — 1 Tsp
Flours
- Jowar flour — 1/4 Cup
vegetables
- Cucumber — 1/2 Cup
- Tomato — 1/2 Cup
- Carrot — 1/4 Cup
- Lemon Juice — 1/2 Tbsp
Spices
- Cumin Seeds — 1/4 Tsp
- Turmeric Powder — 1/4 Tsp
- Table Salt — 1 To Taste
Beverages
- Water — 3/4 Cup
👨🍳 Instructions
- Wash and soak the moong dal for 15–20 minutes.
- Cook the dal with water, turmeric and salt until soft.
- Heat 5 g oil/ghee and add cumin seeds.
- Add the tempering to the cooked dal and mix well.
- Prepare a soft dough with jowar flour and warm water.
- Roll and cook one jowar roti on a hot tawa until cooked on both sides.
- Chop cucumber, tomato and carrot.
- Add lemon juice just before serving.
