  • Tomato β€” 1/2 Cup
  • Carrot β€” 1/4 Cup
  • Lemon Juice β€” 1/2 Tbsp

  1. Wash and soak the moong dal for 15–20 minutes.
  2. Cook the dal with water, turmeric and salt until soft.
  3. Heat 5 g oil/ghee and add cumin seeds.
  4. Add the tempering to the cooked dal and mix well.
  5. Prepare a soft dough with jowar flour and warm water.
  6. Roll and cook one jowar roti on a hot tawa until cooked on both sides.
  7. Chop cucumber, tomato and carrot.
  8. Add lemon juice just before serving.
