- Wash and soak the dal and rice for 15β20 minutes.
- Heat ghee and add cumin seeds.
- Add onion and vegetables and sautΓ© for 2β3 minutes.
- Add dal, rice, turmeric, salt and water.
- Cook until soft and well combined.
- Serve warm with plain curd.
