π¨βπ³ Instructions
- Wash the masoor dal thoroughly and soak for 10β15 minutes.
- Cook the dal with tomato, onion and enough water until soft.
- Heat 1 tsp oil, add cumin seeds and pour over the cooked dal.
- Add chopped spinach and cook for 2β3 minutes.
- For the roti, mix jowar flour with warm water and make a soft dough.
- Shape 1 medium roti and cook on a hot tawa on both sides.
- Mix curd with cucumber, coriander and lemon juice to make the raita.
- Serve the hot jowar roti with masoor dal and cucumber raita.
